Today was a GREAT Day! We kicked off our 2 day's of Conferences:
Shana's Battle Gear Conference was a huge hit with 250 women in attendance (standing room only). Esther said the conference exceeded her expectations and the women were so encouraged by Shana's speaking and they were surprised to receive the "Battle Gear " goody bag. Tomorrow they are expecting the crowd to grow by 25-50 additional women.
The Business conference also went well. We had approx 150 exporters attend. It was a time for me to share about Wal-Mart and also include my personal testamony. I fielded one on one questions/discussions for nearly an hour after the conference ended. Tomorrow we have 3 meetings planned with companies that attended today's conference.
Tonight we worshiped at a home church that is just hard to discribe the environment (Housing, Smell, etc....). This was in a very poor village that hardly had electricity. We had to walk in about 200 yards using only the light from one small flashlight and our cell phones to manuvour through the path. Once we got closer we could hear the praise singing from the service that had already started. This was in a one room house (12' x 15') with 50 - 60 people both inside and out. Shana and I both shared what was on our hearts (and of course Shana was much more prepard than I). As she shared with the group I felt the Lord telling me that Shana she should also share the gospel, as a result of her sharing the plan of salvation through Ramesh's Translation, 15 new believers will enter the gates of heaven. It's hard to put tonight into words. Afterwards many people came up to each of us and requested individual Prayer. This particular Home Church had a lot of youth so that was very special to mine and Shana's heart.
It's nearly 1:00 am and we have meetings starting in the morning @ 9:00am. We really want to thank everyone for their Prayers.....you don't realize how needed and Special this is to both of us.
Good Night from Bangalore,
